The Takler aluminum bar is used for equipment vehicle-side protection. The bars can be secured to a vehicle with certified Takler brackets and a hardware installation kit (TU1390). Takler’s lateral protection side rails minimize the potential for injury to pedestrians and cyclists. The side guards are certified to Volpe Standard (DOT-VNTSC-OSTR-16-05) and are BIC-approved (Business Integrity Commission).
